How to Format 40 GB or 80 GB Pen Drive

Recently My Friend has brought a pendrive for me of 80GB capacity, Kingston Make. Firstly I doubted whether it is genuine or fake Chinese pen drive. On checking Kingston official Website, it was learnt that there is no pen drive in the market with the capacity of 40 GB or 80 GB. Because Kingston Says that it offers its flash drive product range is 1GB-2GB-4GB-8GB-16GB-32GB-64 GB. So at last the conclusion is 40 GB and 80 GB are fake.

On first attempt it shown very well and enabled read and write. On removing and again inserting , now the actual story begins. It behaves WIERDLY. The file/folder names are shown in Greek-and-Latin alphabets, My goodness who knows they are written in Chinese,Taiwan,or any other such language, and you will be shocked to see that you will be left with no data in your 40/80GB Pen drive. If u again carryout the process of write and read it shows again the correctly the newly copied data, but not the old ones. But the case repeats if you remove the pen drive.
The device can’t be formatted either in Windows/Dos.

But alas! Can’t we find any way to make these pendrives to work?
YES ! THERE IS A WAY
Actually while we are about to format the windows neither shows FAT32 nor NTFS.
Basically FAT32 means it supports upto 32 GB only. However, the pen drive 40/80 GB cannot be partitioned in FAT32 nor it supports NTFS format. So, it will not display either FAT or NTFS file system drop down of Pen drive.
SOLUTION
Check this Excellent Tool and when installed , try to format the Pen drive in FAT32 in quick format.
YOU ARE DONE.

P.S.
I have rectified 8 out 10 Pen Drives with this tool.
Good Luck
